  1. What a great thing for the city of Schenectady and not to mention, 350 new jobs! And props, again, to the Schenetady Metroplex for working to create yet another bright spot in this city. For those who don't know, many of the new development in downtown Schenectady was funded through their local IDA called Metroplex and with a lot of help through its boss Ray Gillen. A lot of success can be attributed to his and that agency’s tireless efforts. I don’t think anybody can take a drive downtown and not notice all the work that has been done, not to mention the jobs that it creates and the people it attracts.

I'd encourage you to visit their site.
