Diversity Achievement Award

Capital Region Human Resource Association (CRHRA) announces the call for nominations for the third annual Top Five Spectrum Award. The award will recognize the “Top Five” Capital District employers for their creative and innovative strategies that promote and advance the concept and spirit of diversity.

Nominations will be considered in the following categories: large employer (500 employees or more); mid-size employer (100 to 499 employees); small employer (fewer than 100 employees); non-profit employer; government / private (non-public) employer. Nominations will be based upon the completion of a nomination application that was developed for CRHRA by the College of St. Rose. To assure objectivity, the College of St. Rose will review all nominations and make the final selections.

The “Top Five” Spectrum Awards: A Celebration of Workplace Diversity dinner gala will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center.

The Capital Region Human Resource Association (CRHRA) is the northeastern New York State Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The Chapter was founded in 1946 and is currently comprised of professionals employed in various human resource functions throughout the Capital Region.
